Je suis Nathalie Dionne, j'ai 44 ans et j'habite la région de Québec, secteur Loretteville. Mon aptitude naturelle en relation d'aide m'a amené à étudier en psychologie. J'ai par la suite travaillé comme agente des services correctionnels et comme éducatrice en centre de la petite enfance en milieu défavorisé où j'ai su mettre en pratique ma capacité d'analyse et mon sens aigu de l'observation.
Maintenant propriétaire d'un café de quartier depuis sept ans, et maman de deux garçons autonomes, mon horaire moins chargé me permet de mettre mon énergie et ma passion dans une grande aventure: Le rallye Aïcha des Gazelles.
Calme et réfléchie, je sais demeurer en contrôle en situation de stress. J'ai pratiqué, par le passé, la plongée sous-marine et les arts martiaux. Je m'adonne à la danse et surtout aux randonnées pédestres et à la course en pleine nature.
Combinant ma soif de voyager et ma volonté de faire de l'aide humanitaire, cette grande aventure me permet de contribuer concrètement à l'amélioration des conditions de vie des gens plus démunis. Le rallye est également la preuve tangible d'une valeur transmise à mes enfants, celle que croire en ses rêves et en ses idées amène le courage et la détermination de se réaliser en tant que personne.
Je m'appelle Janie Gadbois, j'ai 29 ans, résidente de Québec (secteur Loretteville) depuis l'été 2011. J'ai très vite adopté ce beau coin tranquille. J'y ai fait la connaissance de Nathalie, et notre partenariat pour le Rallye des Gazelles est venu tout naturellement. Je suis originaire de Ville-Marie au Témiscamingue. J'ai eu la chance de grandir en côtoyant de près la nature. Moi qui cherche l'aventure et la découverte, attirée aussi par l'aide humanitaire, j'ai très envie de relever ce défi exclusivement féminin.
J'ai une forte passion pour le monde merveilleux des voyages, dans lequel je fais présentement mes études à temps plein en Commercialisation de voyages au Collège Mérici.
J'aime le plein air, le vélo, le camping et bien sûr, la découverte de d'autres cultures. Je suis de nature calme et enjouée, optimiste et fonceuse. Ce sera pour moi une aventure valorisante, dans laquelle je souhaite vivre des émotions fortes, partager la culture marocaine, et me dépasser constamment.
Tous les surplus financiers seront gracieusement remis au Centre de prévention du suicide de Québec. Nous espérons ainsi manifester modestement notre amour de la vie, que représente cet organisme.
Ce rallye du désert est une merveilleuse épopée qui nous rejoint toutes deux, dans nos passions et dans nos aspirations. C'est avec détermination et assurance que nous comptons la mener à terme.

My name is Nathalie Dionne, Iam 44 years old and I live in Quebec City. My ''client-centred therapy'' ability brought me directly to Psychology Studies. Thereafter, I have worked as a correctionnal services agent and as a child care educator in a day care center in blighted areas. These experiences allowed me to put into practice my analysis capability and acute sense of observation.
Having been the owner of a coffee-house for the last 7 years and the mother of 2 self-sufficient teenager boys, my schedule allows me to put my energy and passion into a greater adventure: The Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles in Morocco.
Calm and reflective, I know how to stay in control in a stress situation. In the past, I have practiced scuba-diving and martial arts. I go in for dancing and mostly for hiking, jogging ''in the Great Outdoors''.
This tremendous adventure allows me to make a real contribution to improve life conditions of the most impoverished people. It also allows me to combine my thirst for travelling and my will to do humanitarian aid as a relief worker. This Rally carries one of the most tangible human value that I can transmit to my children: believing in one's dreams and ideas bring back the courage and the determination we need to fulfill oneself as a person.
My name is Janie Gadbois, I am 29 and I have lived in Quebec City (Loretteville) since the summer of 2011. I quickly adopted this beautiful and quiet part of Quebec City. Then I have met Nathalie, and our partnership for the Rallye des Gazelles has come up naturally. I am from Ville-Marie in the Témiscamingue region. I was quite lucky to grow up surrounded by nature. I, as a person seeking adventures and discoveries and attracted to humanitarian aid, I really want to meet this exclusive women's challenge.
I have always had a strong passion for the wonderful world of travelling wich actually has brought me to a specific Travel Marketing program at College Mérici for now.
I love outdoors, biking and camping and of course discovering other cultures. I am calm, cheerful optimistic and go-getter. For me, it will be a fulfilling adventure, into which I want to live and experiment strong emotions, to share the Moroccan culture and where I could constantly realize and even overpass my own potential.
All our balance funds from our raising campaign will be given back to Le Centre de prévention du suicide de Québec (CPSQ). That is how we hope to demonstrate our love of life which is also carried and promoted by this helpful organization.
We are agreement on the fact this wonderful desert Rally adventure generates the similar passions and same hopes in each one of us. With assurance and determination, we are looking forward to seeing this project through the completion.
